Mary Virtue

MaryVirtue, a native to Saint Louis, began her training at Dayspring School of the Arts, where she studied a variety of dance methods under Robyn Hahn, Kathryn Dusenbery and Nikki Spotts. From 2005-2008, Mary was a member of Robyn Hahn‘s Ballet Conservatory, a pre-professional program where she received extensive ballet training and performed throughout greater St. Louis. She received additional training at Ballet Magnificat!, where she was a merit scholarship recipient, St. Louis Ballet, and Kansas City Ballet summer programs.

She has had the pleasure of working with several acclaimed artists including Kathy Thibodeaux,
Paula Weber, Jiri Sebastian Voborsky, and Michael Simms. In 2010, Mary became a company member of Common Thread Contemporary Dance, under the artistic direction of Jennifer Medina. Mary has over
5 years teaching experience and has trained in ballet, point, modern, jazz and tap. Working with
dancers of various age groups, has made Mary a versatile and knowledgeable instructor.
